Information We Collect

We collect account information such as parent email address, household membership, child profiles, tracks, availability, learning goals, source URLs or pasted source text supplied by a parent, generated plans, study feedback, and support messages.

If a parent connects the LearnFlow Companion extension, it reports compact activity windows from allowed learning hosts only. Each event can include a URL for server-side hashing, start and end timestamps, visible seconds, the source domain, and a broad activity category such as chess, school LMS, coding, curriculum, research, or learning tool.

Browser Extension Limits

The extension is scoped to the allowed learning hosts listed in its Chrome extension manifest. LearnFlow stores the domain, broad activity type, start and end time, duration, page category, device connection, and URL hash. LearnFlow does not collect passwords, form fields, chat messages, page contents, screenshots, keystrokes, or raw full browsing history from sites outside those allowed learning hosts.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate LearnFlow, create family learning plans, summarize learning activity for parents, improve product quality, protect accounts, respond to support requests, and meet legal or safety obligations.

AI Processing

Some LearnFlow features use an AI provider through the Vercel AI SDK or Vercel AI Gateway to extract curriculum details from parent supplied URLs or text. We send only the information needed for the requested feature, such as the track title, child context, source URL, and source material. Extension URL hashes are not used to reconstruct raw browsing URLs for AI prompts.

Service Providers

LearnFlow uses service providers to run the product, including Supabase for authentication and database storage, Vercel for hosting and analytics, and an AI provider for optional curriculum extraction. These providers process information only to support LearnFlow's features.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

LearnFlow's use and transfer of information received from Chrome extension APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Chrome extension data, use it for unrelated advertising, or share it except to provide and secure LearnFlow.

Parent Controls

Parents can disconnect extension devices, remove child tracks, edit learning data, and request account or data deletion. To ask us to delete data or answer privacy questions, email hello@ramkumar.dev.
